Prayer Ministry Center Greensprings Chapel Williamsburg, VA Established 1996 We provide the Fellowship of Greensprings Chapel and the Williamsburg Area community with a prayer ministry outreach. We offer lay services to individuals, couples, family, and groups who struggle with emotional issues and desire to experience the healing power of the Lord Jesus Christ through prayer. We Purpose to not only offer assistance to others through ministry prayer sessions, but to also offer resources and training opportunities to individuals and other churches to develop more Prayer Ministry Centers. As prayer ministers we recognize that we all live in a world that is broken. Spiritual battles exist within and without. We are all vulnerable and the world fractures us in many ways. Therefore, we all need love and understanding to come to wholeness. The joy of this ministry is the opportunity we have to work together as a team and watch how our Lord Jesus Christ sets the captives free. We know the reality of Matt. 10:8 Freely you have received, freely give.
He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Isaiah 61:1
What is Prayer Ministry? Prayer ministry is a work of grace whereby dedicated Christians function as prayer ministers. It is a commitment to the Lord Jesus Chrst to "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth". 2 Timothy 2:15 Through this commitment we minister first to the Lord and glorify His name as we reach out to others through His love, prayer, and truth. It is a spiritual work of hope and healing while in unity and in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ and in fellowship with His Body, The Church. Prayer ministers help people get to revelation of how Father God sees them and through that revelation find life(not death) in abundance, and the peace, joy and freedom that is theirs through the Blood of Jesus.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him." John 3:16-17
