Trauma and the Key
[html] Trauma and the Key Picture a door with a handle and a lock on it. On the lock reads, "trauma (terrors are the strength of the lock)". Behind the door are these things pain, fear, control, evil deeds, shame, anger, rejection, abandonment, and lies/deceptions. "Trauma forced you to lock all of this away. Trauma was done to you. The devil brought trauma to you. Terrors keep the trauma going - maintaining your condition - when you say terror is not in the past. It is real to you now. You are experiencing it again through emotional and body memories. This is ongoing trauma. Every nightterror is more trauma for you. When it is far away it is not causing trauma (lock on the door). Every victory brings freedom and this weakens the trauma (lock). Before salvation (accepting Jesus Christ of Nazareth), there was no key. Now God of all creation has delivered you from the power of darkness and placed you in the Kingdom of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus did this on the cross. When you have broken the agreement with the devil and his kingdom and accepted Jesus Christ of Nazareth in your heart, God released you from all of the devil's power. Now you are free to go into the lock (trauma), open the door and take out memories (give to Jesus Christ). Sometimes you work with whatever is in your face. Other times God of all creation will show you what to work on (either while in session with the person working with you or to you in between sessions). The song - Step by step we're moving forward, little by little we're taking ground. Every prayer a powerful weapon, strongholds come tumbling down, and down, and down... This is warfare - you have been fighting this warfare all your life. Before Jesus, you had no weapons-no hope-no future-no life. After accepting Jesus in your heart, now you have hope, future, and life. It might not feel like it while you are on the journey to healing. Having Jesus in your heart makes the devil angry and, he will try many methods of distractions so you will not move and receive healing.
Your weapons are MIGHTY THROUGH GOD to pull down every stronghold of the enemy behind the door (not alters or primary parts) and empty out every deed of darkness, for it has lost it power over you. Jesus has already done this for you. Now your part is to believe His Word and take those weapons and go in and confess the strongholds. When you do this, God (Himself) will punish all of the devil's disobedience. In other words, Jesus already won your freedom in His victory at the cross. You are enforcing His victory or making sure the devil stays away from what Jesus has already declared as His territory, purchased with His blood, for you. The spiritual weapons are: Word of God, Name of Jesus, Praise, Prayer Dressed in the Armor of God (shield of faith, helmet of salvation, shoes of peace, belt of truth, and the Word of God), and worship. If you have DID, you will probably have many parts that don't know who the real Jesus of Nazareth is, and you will have a different kind of battle to begin. Whoever has accepted the Real Jesus (understands He gives good gifts and loves you unconditionally) please take the time to explain this to the parts that come out. Ask God of all creation to reveal truth about Himself. Bind the demonic forces in and around you. If this is too hard for you, please find someone you can trust and ask them to do this. This is not the easy road, but it is the best road. Ask God to give you understanding of this article and His Word, so you can get stronger in this warfare. Please know that this article is not as easy as it looks. It's a battle, but it's one you will be glad you won!
